The purpose of the Colloquium is a scientific discussion about the position and the role of a mathematics teacher in accordance with the higher accessibility and implementation of the new technologies in education within the boundaries of the academic community, the education system
and the broader social environment, and with regard to more efficient preparation of children for their future accomplishments.

The scientific colloquium encompasses (but is not limited to) the following topics:

  • scientific research,

  • teaching experience,

  • mathematical education of teacher studies students,

  • mathematics teachers as popularizers of science,

  • mathematics teachers as initiators of progress and development within their communities,

  • application of ICT in education.
